Coordinated Border Management Progresses at Zambian Borders

trucksTo remove delays caused by lengthy and uncoordinated physical examinations of goods, border agencies at Nakonde, in northern Zambia, commenced joint physical examination of goods on May 1, 2012. This is expected to significantly reduce the amount of time it takes for the clearance of goods going out of the country.

SATH Seeks Grant Proposals

The Strategic Partnership Grant Fund (SPGF) has been established to address Southern Africa region industry issues in cereals, legumes and other agricultural commodities and their related services in finance, transportation, storage and information technology. The Fund has US$800,000 available in grant funds, up to a maximum of US$100,000 per award. Eligible companies and apex organizations can apply for a grant from SATH. Read more
